Martha is a postdoc at the Institute for Logic, Language, and Computation, University of Amsterdam. Her interests are in how to computationally model the compositionality of language, using category-theoretic and quantum-inspired approaches. In particular, she looks at how unexpected features ‘emerge’ when combining concepts, and how shared concepts and structures arise in communities of language users.
